Varsity Girls Power Past Pool Play Opponents in 'Best In The West Winter Classic'

The Uni varsity girls shut out both La Mirada High School, 1-0, and Redlands High School, 3-0, in the Best In The West Winter Soccer Classic Tournament and advanced to the '1 seed' bracket.

Kimi Rubino (#15) scored the lone goal, with an assist from Sara Sussman (#28), in the first game against La Mirada.

Kaili Taagepera (#27) claimed a hat trick, scoring all three goals in the second game against Redlands.

Katherine Billiter kept her goal clean in both games.
